Beneath the sheets of the sultan's harem they talked of the fabled Turkish belly dancer, Sofire Rosa. Outcast from her native land she cast her spell on all she met- one glance from behind her bejewelled veil and her audience were captivated. They became mesmerized by her sorcery as they gazed upon and forgot the sun and the moon. Drawn to her dance forever by the twirling serpentine movements of her hands and the undulating of her hips, the legend of Sofire Rosa was born.

She soon found herself enchanted by the glittery lime light of Britannia's burlesque scene. Audiences gasp at her seductive stripteases and men fell for her sweet, alluring charm. A flash of a camera upon her woke the narcissistic creature with in. Ladies and gentleman, gaze upon the pinup wonder that is Sofire Rosa!

Oh did we have fun in the south this summer!!! My DDs and I went all over Portsmouth and had such a great trip! In this group of pics you'll see the DDs in the Portsmouth city Museum, a vintage shop on Albert Road called Dead Mans Glory, rides at Clarence Pier in South Sea, Meeting Portsmouth's famous Jazz songstress Joe Baker as well as live Wrestling at the Portsmouth South Parade Pier!

There are a couple more sets to come from that trip and I'll try to get them up for you soon ;-)
