So what is Donovan's Darlings

The DDs are the brainchild of Kate Donovan of Kate's Pinups, she is a genuine all American pinup model now living in the UK. As well as modelling herself she continues her quest to keep pinup alive by going behind the cameras as well to capture a plethora of pinup, tease and burlesque girlies which she calls her 'Donovan's Darlings'.

Kate handpicks each girl for their classic looks and bubbly personalities. Adorned with classic garments such as FF Stockings, girdles, corsets, opera gloves, fishnets, high heels and bullet bras the DDs know just how to accentuate every fabulous feminine curve! With various occupations from Burlesque to Office Manager, Model to Accountant or even Mother to Airline Stewardess they are all bringing the timeless style and true meaning of pinup and cheesecake back to life!

The DDs are not only doing their bit to keep pinup alive by their photosets and videos but also by personal appearances, burlesque performances, outings and events for charities, support for military personnel and civilian organizations! Viva la Pinup!!!

Photosets

New images are presented in high resolution max 1180 size and standard resolution max 800. Archive images are presented in high resolution max 1024 size and standard resolution max 640. Kate and Kitty-Sue Perrmann shoot with professional Nikon digital SLR cameras with high quality lenses and a variety of different professional studio lighting equipment. There is not much photoshop done to the DDs images as they are the girls next door and fabulous just as they are celebrating the female form with each dangerous curve! Kate adores all shapes and sizes and she is sure you will too!

Portfolios and how to get the photos and videos

Each of the DDs have their own portfolio page with a few photos, a short bio and a list of their latest photoshoots/videos updated on the site. As for purchasing photosets and videos of them there are two options. The first being to join the members area in which brand new photosets are updated twice a week and videos are added as and when available.

Secondly by purchasing tokens then choosing individual photosets and videos to download. Photosets and videos are added to the downloads section after they have been in the members area for the first month of display. So as a guest on the site you do not have to sign up to a reoccurring membership to get your favorite photosets and videos, they can be purchased with tokens, allowing you to only download the sets you want, when you want!

Available to both members and those who prefer to download there is also a public forum for you to chat with the DDs and their fans, as well as the DDs keeping folks up to date with their performance and appearance schedules!

Members Area

The DDs members area includes the latest Photosets, the newest Videos, members Archive Photosets of myself and friends, a Bonus gallery to showcase the DDs trips and events, Online News, e-mail Newsletter, Backgrounds, Calendars, Screensavers and a comprehensive Search functionality to allow the members - and guests - to instantly find exactly what they are looking for!

Guest Area

On the guest side there is the online News, About page, latest Members Updates, an e-mail Newsletter to sign up to, a public Forum, Links page and also a Contact page to reach the webmistress - me!

Downloads and search

Along with all that the guest area will be home to the Downloadable photosets and videos! Purchasing Tokens is the alternative way to collect all the DDs photosets and videos! This means as a guest you don't need to become a member and pay monthly to have access to the DDs photos and videos! This will benefit those that want to only pay for the photosets/videos they chose or for those that are only interested in a specific DD or two!

This is where the search function comes in handy! Listed on the search page are all the keywords from each photoset and video on the site (searching is available in the members, guest and downloads areas). Ticking the boxes of certain keywords will result in finding all the photosets and videos that are online in the members and downloadable areas as well as those in the members archive waiting to be rotated back in!
